And on how running is changing my life one step at a time.

🥳 2nd Vaccination Done Baby 🥳

Exactamundo! I had my second COVID-Vaccine last Friday and again: what an experience!

But first of all, I want to take some rows in this newsletter to appreciate how smooth the vaccination process went for me.

  1. You sign up and choose a date, time, and location (most people just took whatever they got since the appointments were booked like they were tickets to a Billie Eilish concert)
  2. You receive a QR-Code per text message (you can also download it via your account)
  3. When your appointment is due you go to the location, show your QR-Code, get a number and wait at a specific area until your number comes up.
  4. A staff member greets you by your name (which I loved) and asks you some health questions
  5. You go to another room, have a little chat with the nurse, get your vaccine, your stamp into your vaccination report card
  6. You then have to wait 10–15 Min. in another area until your number comes up
  7. Then you sign out and

THAT’S IT! The best part is the 2nd vaccination process where one additional part comes in: while you’re waiting as described at point 6. above you receive your official digital vaccination report (for your traveling and so on). I mean, how nice is that?

We are truly blessed! #thanksscience

If you want to know, how I felt after I got my 2nd vaccination, watch it here

Me, right after my second vaccine!

💧 I Became A Flask-Guy

Who would have thought? But yes, I’m carrying around (probably the best) flask around to drink more water. You see, I was looking for the perfect flask for a long time and made some horrible purchases. After my last mistake, I knew exactly what I wanted:

  • Vacuum flask (doesn’t drip drip drip, nobody needs that)
  • Thermo flask (so it can keep the water cool and fresh, mmmhh)
  • Big container (I got one with 1 L)
  • Normal bottle opening sized mouthpiece (if it’s large, I spill over everything like a child)
  • Carrying handle
  • Dishwasher safe mouthpiece

Aaaand this Camelbak Chute Mug has ALL the 6 criteria including a magnetic cap holder. 🤯

Find it here on Galaxus or here on Amazon (👈 this one is an affiliate link).

🏃‍♂️ Running Is Changing Everything (again)

As you know by now, I got really hooked on running (again). The spark burst out in flames so running climbed my priority list higher and higher.

  • I plan my days now much better (especially my time besides work)
  • I’m becoming a morning person since I want to sneak in a run in the morning
  • My eating habits are changing (what I eat and when I eat)
  • My feeds (Instagram, YouTube) are changing so are the ads that I’m seeing lol
  • I’m drinking much more water
  • I’m learning new things about strength training
  • And since my lovely girlfriend Jacky is running with me I spend some additional time with her ❤️

What else?

  • At Senler Media, we are some quite busy bees I tell you that. Next week, we will be in Bern for almost the whole week because of reasons (…follow us here so you’re up to date immediately)
  • I didn’t come around to create more content this week, especially for YouTube. I hope I can fix that soon since the urge is here 🙌
  • Happy that my parents are fine
  • Jacky and I bought a very nice carpet for our living room. It’s colorful and makes it more homely 🏡

Books?

  • I’m still with “Tribes” by Seth Godin (Orell Füssli, Amazon). But definitely not done yet 😅. For the new ones: Seth Godin argues that now, for the first time, everyone has an opportunity to start a movement — to bring together a tribe of like-minded people and do amazing things. There are tribes everywhere, all of them hungry for connection, meaning, and change.
  • “Small Giants — Companies That Choose to be Great Instead of Big” by Bo Burlingham (Orell Füssli, Amazon). It’s a great book full of stories of companies you may never have heard of but are just awesome in what they’re doing, and they also have a huge impact on their community. Something I’m aspiring to create with Senler Media. I think this one will take a while to finish. 😅

Alright, you awesome people! If you’re here, you made it to the end of this issue. Let me know how you liked it and what you would like to know more (or less) about. And don’t forget to forward the newsletter to people who you think might be interested in my doings and thoughts 🙌

Have a great start to the week 🚀

I love thinking about social media, tech and business so much, I started companies around those topics and love to talk and teach about them.
